Anti-Bullying
At Woodlands we take bullying very seriously. Each November we hold an Anti-Bullying Week where we look at different types of bullying and the impact this can have on children. This is reinforced throughout the year in curriculum work and during assemblies. In our recent questionnaire 42% of parents said their child had not been bullied and were there had been cases of bullying, everybody agreed that the school had dealt with it well.
We also have Anti-Bullying Ambassadors who work hard to keep our school a safe place; they are easily identified as they wear bright red fleeces and caps.
The children devised their own Anti-Bullying Policy which they have published in a leaflet. This has been shared with the whole school community but if you would like a copy then please ask at the School Office.
