E-Safety

Here at Woodlands Community Primary School we work with staff, children and parents / carers to minimise risks online, understand the value and benifits of technologies in our learning and ensure the proper use of ICT resources.

We aim to keep our students safe online by discussing potential e-safety issues, what information is acceptable to share and how to report anything that might make us feel uncomfortable. We also offer parents CEOP and e-safety courses which offer information on how to encourage their children to stay safe at home and useful advice such as putting in place parent controls.

Our e-safety, safeguarding, behaviour and anti-bullying policies are regularly reviewed and updated accordingly. Students full names will not be displayed on our website or twitter and all photos are taken from a distance or are not easily identifiable.

A link to our e-safety policy can be found below along with our e-safety rules. If you have any questions about your childs safety online, you are welcome to come in and speak to us or read through these useful websites.
