Anti-Bullying

At Woodlands we take bullying very seriously. Each November we hold an Anti-Bullying Week where we look at different types of bullying and the impact this can have on children. This is reinforced throughout the year in curriculum work and during assemblies. In our recent questionnaire 99% of parents said that they felt we dealt with bullying effectively - our aim is to increase that to 100%

We also have Anti-Bullying Ambassadors who work hard to keep our school a safe place; they are easily identified as they wear bright red fleeces and caps.

Check out the poster below to see what the children will be learning during our latest Anti- Bullying Week and topics we have focused on in the past.

Last year the children devised their own Anti-Bullying Policy which they have published in a leaflet. This has been shared with the whole school community but if you would like a copy then please ask at the School Office.

From 16th - 20th of November we held an Anti - Bullying Week at Woodlands covering the topics below -
