Cutting down on plastic

We have been looking at how much plastic we use as a school and thinking about the effect this has on our planet.

During one lunchtime we collected two bin bags full of plastic!

In todays assembly we looked at how much this would add up to over a week, month and year. The results shocked us all and so our school council are putting their heads together to come up with ways that we can be more green as a school and reduce the amount of plastic we waste.
